 What's New for You?

Mr Gillan has created a Memory Wall, to collect the thoughts and comments of our School Community. If you would like to, please visit it and comment HERE

 Dear Parents

It is with great sadness that I am writing to inform you of the loss of one of our dear Year 6 pupils, Chloe Phillips, who died last night in hospital. Her family remain up in Bristol currently where they are being looked after and supported.

We will all remember Chloe as being a very strong and happy young lady who let nothing faze her. She was always smiling and had an infectious laugh which I personally will never forget. She was a good and loyal friend to all in our school community and will be deeply missed. Our love and prayers go out to her parents Caroline and Andy and her little sister, Lucy.

The children have been sharing their thoughts and memories of Chloe in school today culminating in a whole school act of worship.

We have taken the decision to postpone Bedtime Stories this evening as I am sure you will all understand. We will send out further information and a revised date in due course.

I am sure, as with the staff here in school, you would like to pass on your condolences to the family. We will keep you informed of any future arrangements.

Once again, we remember Chloe’s family in our thoughts and prayers today and over the coming weeks.

With every best wish

Mrs Heather Barraclough
